Tekken Movie DVD, Blu-Ray Release Dates

This time, ‘BR’ stands for Blu-Ray.

Believe it or not, the Tekken live-action movie, of which we have heard little about, is coming to Blu-ray, DVD and Warner digital distribution in a few months. According to Game Watch, the game-to-movie adaptation of Namco-Bandai’s beat ’em up will release on August 11, 2010 for the home. This is for Japan, with a UK release a few weeks later. No word on other territories getting it yet, but there’s always the option to import, as Blu-ray discs can be played in pretty much any PS3. Well, that is, if you think this fighting game movie will be worth it. Eh, why not?

In any case I’m glad that there’s finally a more solid date for seeing this movie, which I have been searching everywhere for. Still no reviews or reports about it online (as far as I know), but I guess the chances for seeing it are inching closer as the home consumer copies become available. More as we get it then.
