Resident Evil 5: Desperate Escape

Nina Williams battles zombies? No, it’s Jill Valentine back on duty!

More Resident Evil 5 DLC adventure is coming in the form of Desperate Escape, the 2nd RE5 DLC episode, slated to come in early March next year. This mini-episode reveals what happened soon after Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar left to pursue Wesker and Excella for the finale. Left behind in the Tricell facility, recently-rescued Jill Valentine (who’s still sporting blonde hair and a sexy bodysuit) is attempting to bust out of the still-monster-infested stronghold with the help of Josh Stone (the BSAA Operative, not the hot singer babe). This will coincide with the release of Costume Pack 2 (which will have Business Suit Sheva and Heavy Metal Chris).

In case you’re not too hot about DLC, you can always wait for Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition, which will have all the extra stuff included. I think I’ll be holding out for that. Though I wish they’d give Jill a new costume or three as well. Read the original article here.

  1. I freaking love Super-Jill.

With that said, I’m totally confused about all this DLC, gold edition shenannigans. Is the DLC free? Is it better to get the standard game and the DLC, or wait for the “gold” thing?
