More Streetfighter Movie Casting…

More details on the upcoming Street Fighter movie. Aside from Kristin Kreuk as the main heroine Chun Li, the film will also feature Michael Clark Duncan as Balrog the boxer, Chris Klein as Nash AKA Charlie, Guile’s friend who died in the struggle against Shadaloo in the game’s storyline, and Rick Yune as the elderly assassin Gen (who trained Chun Li a bit in her youth). Taboo from Black-eyed Peas is also in the film, along with Singaporean actor Edmund Chen, actress Moon Bloodgood (Man, so many o’s!) and Hong Kong actress Cheng Pei Pei (Come Drink with Me, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon).

Quite a cast! This looks good. If the film is actually filmed and directed more like a classic Wuxia martial arts fantasy/adventure rather than just going for shallow videogame vibe, maybe The Legend of Chun Li might turn out to be more than the usual. Maybe.
