Samurai Spirits Sen Official Site

SNK-Playmore’s new weapons fighter and sequel to one of their most beloved franchises, Samurai Spirits Sen, has just opened up its official website. There’s not much on it, save for a Character Section with only 6 of the available 24 character slots opened up. There’s a bit of art for the character portraits as well as a small moves list for each of the revealed fighters.

Now, what can I say about Samurai Spirits Sen? Honestly, from all that I’ve seen on this game, from graphic quality to animation to gameplay… this simply can’t compete with the big guns from Namco, Sega and Tecmo. This will surely gain a following from SNK fans, but will almost probably go the same way as the King of Fighters 3-D games. Not enough depth, not enough graphical punch or wow factor, not enough anything. All it has is some nice character art, some nostalgia factor and that’s it. Oh, and panty shots when you KO some of the female characters. Hey, I guess it’s not all bad.

Prove me wrong, SNK. The Samurai Spirits brand has always been a favorite of mine.
