For Whom the Bell Bolls

According to Attack of the Show’s The Feed, director Uwe Boll has directed his last big budget bomb. With the failure of In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale at the box office, the man who made a name for himself making (bad) movie adaptations of videogames won’t be doing Hollywood anymore. Another factor is a change in German tax shelter laws which were supposedly instrumental in Boll’s fund-raising for his films. The director however vows that he’ll still work on smaller films despite this setback.

I’m sure a lot of Boll blasters out there (and there are quite a lot) are glad that the director won’t be laying a hand on any more cherished franchises to turn into crappy movies. Good riddance then, Boll. Can’t say I’m broken up about this. Oh well.
